非晶合金的带材厚度一般为0.03mm,适用于条件为10kHz以下频率的各类型变压器中。由于非晶合金材料的加工工艺较为复杂,在现有的技术条件下,非晶合金带材的规则只有三种宽度分别为142mm、170mm、213mm,绝大部分的非晶合金铁心采用的都是长方形截面。从其结构形式上看,具体是将下铁轭部分设计成交错搭接的开口单卷卷铁心结构。其中三相五柱式是一种用于非晶合金变压器铁心结构较为普遍的形式。
